This MS Office PowerPoint Presentation Design Training Workshop course is designed for enthusiasts and users of all levels of MS Office PowerPoint application who require creating successful, well-designed slide presentations. Approximately 60% of the Workshop course is focused on design fundamentals; comprising of design concepts and principles and screen layout composition guidelines. This will assist the learner to devise confident design decisions and organize screen content (re: visual direction) effectively. Bloom’s Taxonomy’s Comprehension domain applies here. The remaining 40% of the Workshop course is dedicated towards reviewing the MS Office PowerPoint functions and tools. Participants will practice, prepare and produce the proposed outcomes by applying the design fundamentals. Bloom’s Taxonomy’s Application, Analysis and Synthesis domains apply here. No previous experience with design or designing is required.

Sailendra is a senior designer, founder and principal trainer of Words and Visuals Studio, Kuala Lumpur. Sailendra is a practising designer specialising in Graphic Design and Visual Communication since 1999. Post-design industry, Sailendra has been in the academic industry since year January 2007. Beginning as a lecturer and later progressing to the role of Head of School at the School of Graphic Design from Oct 2011 till May 2014 before setting up Words and Visuals Studio in July 2014.
